Fulfillment, Refund & Cancellation Policy
Effective 4 June 2025 – replaces all prior versions
1. Scope
This policy explains how Talently delivers its recruiting & staffing services, how and when clients may receive a refund or replacement hire, and how ongoing subscriptions/retainers can be cancelled. It is written to satisfy Stripe’s “fulfillment policy” requirements and to give our clients clear, fair expectations.
2. Service-Delivery Policy
What happens | Timing & method |

Kick-off & role intake | Once you sign our Service Agreement, we schedule a discovery call (typically within 2 business days). |
First candidate shortlist | We aim to email your initial shortlist within 10 business days. |
Ongoing candidate flow | Additional candidates are delivered on a rolling basis via email with secure Google Drive links to full profiles, interview notes, and work samples (if applicable). |
Hire confirmation | A hire is deemed “successful” on the candidate’s agreed start date. All placement and/or subscription fees begin only after this point—no upfront fees are charged. |
3. Refund & Replacement Guarantee

Candidate leaves or is terminated for cause within 60 days of the start date | 1️⃣ Free Replacement: We run a replacement search at no extra cost until a new hire starts. — or — 2️⃣ Partial Refund: We refund 50 % of the recruiting/placement fee paid for that hire. |
Candidate departs after 60 days | No replacement or refund is offered, but we’re happy to open a new search under a fresh agreement. |
Processing | Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method via Stripe within 5–7 business days. |
Important: Monthly retainer fees already collected for delivered services are pro-rated for unused days if a refund is chosen.
4. Subscription / Retainer Cancellation

Notice period | 30-day written notice before your next billing date. |
What happens next | We continue working until the end of the paid period (pro-rating any whole unused days if we stop sooner). You retain access to all candidate materials delivered up to the cancellation date. |
5. Non-Refundable Fees
Talently does not charge discovery, kick-off, or other up-front fees. Therefore, there are no non-refundable charges once an agreement is signed.
6. Dispute Resolution
Most issues are resolved quickly via email. If a dispute remains unresolved after good-faith discussions, the terms of our underlying Service Agreement (including governing law and venue) will apply.

8. Updates to This Policy
We may amend this policy to reflect changes in law or our business practices. Updated versions are posted at https://hirewithtalently.com/fulfillment and become effective on the “Last updated” date shown. Continued use of our services after that date implies acceptance of the revised terms.
